Evyclean Guide

Does Evy Clean help with smell? Sure EvyClean is unscented but that doesn’t mean that it wont pack a punch against foul smells. Do you have dogs and Cats, a home that has nicotine damage, Stinky Kids rooms? Don’t just “clean it”… EvyClean it!!! 

Evyclean is safe to use on all surfaces, including those trafficked by pets or children, however there are some precautions to follow for certain circumstances.

Floors

For the majority of floors, using excessive Evyclean will not enhance the cleaning capabilities. Evyclean should not ‘pool up’ and the floors should not look ‘wet’, but rather damp or lightly spritzed. The Evyclean should evaporate within 5 minutes and should not be very slick, however due to the differences in floor types no floor should be walked on until there is no visible wetness.

It is best to spray Evyclean on floors while moving the bottle from side to side, much like spray paint. This prevents too much Evyclean from pooling up on the floor.

Consumption

Evyclean is not to be consumed or directly sprayed onto skin or in eyes. Refer to the MSDS on this site for directions on what to do if this happens. Evyclean is a safe product, but not meant to clean humans 🙂

Mixing

Evyclean should be mixed with water in a ratio of 1oz Evyclean to 31oz Water. It is preferable to use Distilled water for Evyclean, but it is not necessary. The cleaning properties can be enhanced by using 2oz Evyclean to 30oz Water, but this is typically not necessary.

Floors

For any tough spots that aren’t coming up with normal mopping, spray the spot well with Evyclean and let sit for at least 5 minutes, then mop again. For stuck-on food or larger debris stuck to floors, it is suggested to use a soft plastic scrapper to gently scrap the spot off the floor, being careful to not damage the floor.
